AI Image and Video Generator for Teams: Models and Credits
Short answer
Kollab offers shared team credits for chat, images and video. Its CLI also supports 3D files. Sora's web and app shut down on April 26, 2026. Its API shut down on September 24, 2026. Claude does not generate photos or illustrations like dedicated image tools. Third-party tools provide generation through assistant connections.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]

Choosing an AI image and video generator for a team starts with model access and billing. A plan may charge per seat, include a fixed member count or offer unlimited seats. The comparison below shows how each service allocates credits.[2][8][9]
Kollab combines multi-model chat, image and video generation under one shared workspace balance with unlimited team seats on its Free, Pro and Max plans. Its command-line tool separately documents automated image, video and 3D .glb generation for agent workflows. Below is how Kollab's model access, assistant connections and team billing compare with Krea, OpenArt, Magnific and Artificial Studio.[1][2][3][8]
Which models can the team use from one Kollab balance?
Kollab's product page names chat, image and video models that use one shared workspace balance. The first table lists those models. The second lists services named on the CLI page. Access those services through the CLI; its documentation says tasks run in Kollab's cloud without provider API keys. The shared-balance scope below applies to the first table.[1][3]
Web workspace models (shared workspace balance)
| Comparison | Publicly named models on web pages | Documented scope and source |
|---|---|---|
| Chat | GPT-6.1 Sol, Gemini 3.8 Flash, Grok 4.7, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash[1] | Listed on the product-page chat cards for shared workspace use.[1] |
| Images | GPT Image family[1][2] | Listed on the product and pricing pages under the shared workspace balance.[1][2] |
| Video | Seedance 2, Veo 3[1][2] | Listed on the product and pricing pages under the shared workspace balance.[1][2] |
CLI and agent skill services (separate CLI route)
| Comparison | Publicly named services on CLI page | Documented route and scope |
|---|---|---|
| Images | GPT Image family, Nano Banana[3] | Executed through Kollab CLI commands in Kollab's cloud without user-supplied provider API keys.[3] |
| Video | Seedance 2, Veo 3, Kling[3] | Executed through Kollab CLI video generation commands.[3] |
| 3D model files | Tripo3D[3] | Generates a .glb file from text or a reference image through the CLI.[3] |
Can the team add video to its existing ChatGPT or Claude workflow?
Third-party connections can add generation to an assistant workflow. OpenAI's Sora web and app shut down on April 26, 2026. The Videos API and Sora 2 models shut down on September 24, 2026. OpenAI's deprecations table lists no replacement for those entries.[4][5]
For Claude image generation, Anthropic says Claude does not generate photos or illustrations the way dedicated image tools do. It can create diagrams, charts and interactive HTML/SVG visuals. It can also analyze uploaded images.[7]
Several creative platforms connect generation tools to assistants through Model Context Protocol (MCP):
Krea: Its guide describes image and video generation in ChatGPT through an app or MCP connection. Users connect a Krea account, which handles generation. Some models require a paid Krea plan. Krea says the same MCP server works with Claude, Codex and Cursor.[6]
Artificial Studio: Its tutorial describes connecting an MCP server to Claude to generate .glb 3D models for Blender.[10]
OpenArt Enterprise: Its team offering lists MCP integration for Claude and Codex.[11]
Kollab provides a separate CLI and Skill route for agents. Tasks run in Kollab's cloud without user-supplied provider API keys.[3]
How do the team billing models compare?
Each platform defines its own credits or compute units, so credit counts across vendors do not represent identical output volume. Seat rules range from per-seat allocations to packages with a fixed member count and plans with unlimited seats. USD figures below were checked on October 26, 2026. Monthly billing and annual equivalents are labeled separately.
Published team billing models
| Comparison | Published price and billing cadence | Seat rules and credit pool scope | Official source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kollab Free | $0/month[2] | Unlimited team seats; 600 free credits every 3 days (up to 2,000 credits/month) shared across the workspace[2] | [2] |
| Kollab Pro / Max | Pro: $20/month billed monthly (6,000 subscription credits/month); Max: $200/month billed monthly (80,000 subscription credits/month)[2] | Unlimited team seats; shared workspace balance; subscription credits reset each billing period; top-up credits stay until spent[2] | [2] |
| OpenArt individual plans | Priced per seat per month, with a monthly credit allowance[9] | Individual seat plans with 4,000 (Starter), 12,000 (Plus), 24,000 (Pro) or 106,000 (Wonder) credits/month[9] | [9] |
| OpenArt Enterprise | Usage-based custom pricing via sales[11] | Unlimited seats; shared team workspace; credits do not expire[11] | [11] |
| Krea Business | $160/month equivalent when billed annually for the default 80,000-unit package[8] | Up to 50 members included; shared workspace compute units; additional package tiers available[8] | [8] |
| Magnific Business (formerly Freepik) | Credit allocation per seat, pooled across the team[12] | Teams of 2 to 100 members; 45,000 credits per user/month pooled across team members[12] | [12] |
| Artificial Studio Enterprise | $79/month equivalent when billed annually (178,200 credits/year)[13][14] | Unlimited team members listed; account credits do not expire[13][14] | [13][14] |
Notes
Check the collaboration tools alongside the seat rules. Kollab brings chat, media generation, projects and outputs into one workspace. OpenArt Enterprise offers image, video and audio models with a creative agent. Magnific describes collaborative canvases called Spaces with text, image, video and audio nodes. Artificial Studio says account credits work across models and do not expire.[1][11][12][14]
What does one shared balance mean for production volume?
Kollab meters messages, images, videos and automated tasks from one workspace balance. A plan's credits fund that mix of work. Subscription credits reset at the start of each billing period. Credits from top-up packs stay in the balance until spent.[2]
The pricing page gives approximate usage examples:
A typical GPT Image family image uses about 27 credits.
A six-second 720p Seedance 2 clip uses about 363 credits.
A six-second Veo 3 clip uses about 1,200 credits.[2]
Image usage varies with size, quality and tokens. Video usage varies with duration, size and actual provider usage. Use these examples to plan a trial with your own mix of work. They do not guarantee a fixed number of finished assets.[2]
What counts as 3D support?
| Comparison | Documented 3D capability | Source and route |
|---|---|---|
| Kollab CLI | Tripo3D generates a .glb file from text or a reference image.[3] | Named on the CLI page.[3] |
| Artificial Studio | Its tutorial describes a .glb download link and importing the model into Blender.[10] | Claude MCP tutorial.[10] |
| Krea | Its 3D page describes text-to-3D and image-to-3D generation.[15] | 3D Objects page.[15] |
A 3D model file serves a different purpose from an image that looks three-dimensional. These sources describe the generation route and file output.
Before you start
Use a real brief to test the models and access routes your team needs.
How should the team evaluate one workspace?
- 1
Write one multi-part test brief
Pick a real campaign task that includes one chat research thread, a reference image and a short video clip. Add a .glb 3D asset if your pipeline includes Blender or 3D layout work.
- 2
Test the exact route each role will use
Have teammates run chat, image and video prompts inside Kollab's web workspace, and test .glb generation through the Kollab CLI.[1][3]
- 3
Measure credit consumption per accepted asset
Track how many credits go into revisions versus finished files, and compare the shared-seat workflow against per-seat plans or annual compute packages on Krea and Magnific.[2][8][12]
