1. Using Kollab

By accessing or using Kollab, you agree to these Service Terms and to the Kollab Privacy Policy. If you use Kollab on behalf of a company or another organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

You must comply with applicable laws, your internal policies, and any product notices or feature-specific rules we publish inside the service.

2. Accounts, workspaces, and administrators

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless it was caused by our failure to protect the service.

Workspace owners and administrators may manage seats, integrations, permissions, billing settings, and some workspace content on behalf of their organization. If you use Kollab through a managed workspace, your administrator may have access to data and controls associated with that workspace.

3. Paid plans, billing, and credits

Certain Kollab features require a paid workspace plan or one-time credit purchase. Paid billing is currently processed through Stripe or other payment channels we designate in the product.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Pricing, credit allotments, top-up mechanics, and plan-specific limits may be updated prospectively. The checkout flow, public pricing page, and in-product billing surfaces describe the current plan rules in effect at the time of purchase.

Unless required by law or explicitly stated in the product, fees are non-refundable after purchase. If a refund is issued, Kollab may reverse unused credits or paid access tied to that payment.

4. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of the content you upload to Kollab. However, you grant Kollab a non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service for your workspace.

You are responsible for making sure you have the necessary rights, permissions, and legal basis to upload content, invite collaborators, connect third-party tools, and instruct Kollab to process that material.

If you enable public share links, password-protected share links, public templates, or similar publishing features, you are instructing Kollab to make the selected content available outside your workspace under those sharing settings.

5. AI features, bots, and connectors

Kollab includes AI outputs, automated workflows, bots, and connectors. These features can act on your instructions and the context you authorize, but generated output may be incomplete, inaccurate, offensive, or unsuitable for your use case.

You are responsible for reviewing important outputs before relying on them. If you connect third-party services, you are also responsible for complying with those services’ terms and for the actions Kollab performs under your instructions.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Kollab in a way that harms the service, other users, or third parties.

  • Upload, generate, or distribute illegal, infringing, deceptive, hateful, abusive, or malicious content.
  • Attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service security, bypass limits, scrape private data, or probe systems without permission.
  • Send spam, run abusive automation, impersonate others, or use Kollab to facilitate fraud, harassment, or cyberattacks.
  • Use data or outputs from Kollab in a way that violates confidentiality, export controls, sanctions, privacy law, or another person’s rights.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or limit access to Kollab if we reasonably believe there is abuse, a security risk, non-payment, legal exposure, or a material violation of these terms. Where practical, we will try to provide notice first.

You may stop using Kollab at any time. Some provisions, including those related to billing, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute-related obligations, survive termination to the extent allowed by law.

8. Disclaimers, liability, and changes

Kollab is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted availability.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kollab is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service. We may update these Service Terms from time to time by posting the revised version on this page or in the product. Your continued use after the effective date of the revised terms means you accept the updated terms.
